The predicted salary is between 11.7 - 14.3 £ per hour.
As my Personal Assistant your role is to enable and support me as an independent power chair user to access the community and day to day activities.
Tasks:
- Personal care tasks - each day: Facilitate toilet breaks (using urine bottle). Training can be provided if required.
- Household tasks - on a regular basis, as requested: Preparing drinks and light lunches when required.
- General tasks - as and when required: Driving wheelchair accessible vehicle and using appropriate wheelchair clamping and restraining equipment. Supervision and attention to safety in relation to power wheelchair i.e terrain/kerbs/inclines when out and about. Assistance in and around the home if required.
- Social activities as and when required: Assisting me to participate in various social activities, for example attending day centres and classes, voluntary and work-related meetings, and to attend day to day social and leisure activities. The above will involve driving my wheelchair accessible vehicle. Full driving licence required.
