Temporary Staffing Adviser | Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust
Help shape a safe, responsive and sustainable temporary workforce across Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and influential Temporary Staffing Adviser to join our People Operations team covering maternity leave for 12 months.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in improving how we plan, deploy and support our temporary workforce, helping clinical services access the right people at the right time while maintaining safe staffing, quality and value for money.
Working closely with managers, clinical leads, workforce colleagues and external partners, you will use data, insight and relationship-building skills to support workforce planning, service improvement and cost-effective temporary staffing solutions.
You will help develop smarter processes, improve reporting and contribute to projects that strengthen workforce resilience across the Trust.
This role will suit someone who is organised, analytical and confident working with spreadsheets and a wide range of stakeholders.
You will bring experience of temporary staffing and resourcing or workforce planning in a complex environment, alongside the ability to influence change, solve problems and present information clearly.

As the Temporary Staffing Adviser, you will have the ability to
- motivate teams and individuals as well as contribute to and deliver projects.
It will be important that you are able to plan for, identify and address issues that may derail projects.
- have exceptional communication skills and be able to communicate clearly and effectively on a range of complex staffing issues.
- have advanced excel skills will be vital to this role and your ability to analyse data, understand the issues and make recommendations.
- have expert knowledge of the temporary workforce agenda locally and nationally is also essential.
