We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Temporary Assistant Service Manager in Bury St Edmunds on a full-time contract (37.5 hours per week). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to take the next step in their career and progress their development. As an Assistant Service Manager, you will report to the Service Manager. Working alongside them, you will help to support a team of Support Workers and ensure the smooth running of the service.

Responsibilities

  • Have strong communication skills with the people we support, colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • Be confident to support with leading and managing a team.
  • Be flexible, ensuring there is adequate support across the management team on site.
  • Previous supervisory experience is desirable but not essential.

What you will be doing

  • To be confident in being able to work using a computer and electronic systems.
  • Support the Service Manager with agreed management tasks.
  • Support the team with their development.
  • Ensuring compliance across the team and service.
