We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and forward-thinking Centre Manager to join our Obstetrics, Maternity & Neonatal Centre on a12-month fixed-term maternity cover.
Working as part of an experienced quadrumvirate, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across a diverse portfolio of services, driving operational performance, service transformation and continuous improvement.
You'll work closely with Clinical Directors, senior nursing and midwifery colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality, and compassionate care, while achieving key national and local performance standards.
We're looking for an inspiring leader with significant NHS operational management experience, a proven track record of delivering change, and the ability to build strong relationships, influence at senior levels and lead high-performing teams.

- Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the Obstetrics, Maternity & Neonatesoperational team, ensuring high standards of patient care and operational efficiency.
- Strategic Development: Drive strategic initiatives in alignment with the division’s objectives, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Clinical Directors and senior nursing, and midwifery colleagues to implement changes and enhancements that improve service delivery and patient outcomes.
- Operational Oversight: Oversee all operational activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, while managing performance metrics effectively.
- Workforce Planning: Develop and implement workforce plans to ensure appropriate staffing levels, skill mix, and ongoing staff development to meet service demands.
- Financial
Management: Monitor and manage budgets, contracts, and financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost efficiencies and ensuring the sustainability of services.
- Governance and Risk Management: Maintain effective governance frameworks, manage risks, and ensure robust reporting mechanisms are in place for all services within the portfolio.
- Stakeholder
Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for all matters related to your portfolio, fostering relationships with key stakeholders to enhance service delivery and patient experience.
- On-call: Participate in the Women and Children's manager on-call rota.
