JOB PURPOSE AND ROLE
Job Description:
Outbound Care is a family orientated company and our homes cater for young people of either gender, from the ages of 8 years old to 17 years old. The main aim at Outbound Care is to offer stability, security and opportunity. Many of the young people we work with may have experienced difficulties in their lives and consequently may have emotional and/or behavioural difficulties. We welcome any such person that would take on the role in supporting us to successfully get the best outcomes for the young people of the two bedded home.
Rates of pay - Starting £15.00 per hour (£53 generous sleep allowance)
Overtime Rate 20% extra
Christmas Day - Double time
Bank Holiday pay (Starting pay £22.50 per hour)

Full time based on one day on with sleep and two days off
Paid holidays - 210 hours per year.

Responsibilities Day-to-Day
To act in the lead role as a Team Leader Residential Childcare Worker, providing care, welfare, safety and security to individuals.
To support young people with structure and boundaries.
To work on behalf of the young persons to educate and provide positive advice with any aspect of their health care requirements and consult with health care professionals where appropriate.
To be aware of and comply with the statutory requirements and all the company’s policies and procedures including those of outdoor activities.
To maintain a high level of recording and report writing.
Requirements
Driving licence
DBS Certificate or willing to obtain
Level 3 qualification or above in Residential Childcare or ongoing
Knowledge of children’s home regulation 2015
Experience of working in residential childcare provisions (ages 8-17)
