  • Job Type: Full-Time, 33 hours per week
  • ONLY A 3 DAY WORKING WEEK – 3 x 11-hour consecutive shifts (7:00am - 6:00pm)
  • Start dates available from mid-July to the beginning of August
  • Seasonal role ending mid-November 2026
  • Additional project expected to run from November 2026 to March 2027
  • Pay: £14.00 per hour, weekly pay (PAID BREAKS)
  • Thursday to Saturday, 7:00am – 6:00pm (3 x 11-hour shifts)

We are seeking individuals who are willing to commit for the duration of the season.

The role

We are exclusively in partnership with a well-established business near Tarleton and recruiting FLT Drivers (Counterbalance & / or Reach) for the harvesting season.

These are excellent opportunities for qualified forklift operators to join a busy agricultural warehousing and distribution operation supporting the grading, storage and movement of fresh produce.

The successful candidates will be responsible for safely operating Counterbalance and / or Reach (Telehandler) forklift trucks across both indoor and outdoor environments, working as part of an established team to ensure products are moved, stored and dispatched safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

  • Safely operate Counterbalance and Reach (Telehandler) forklift trucks throughout the site.
  • Load, unload, move and store fresh produce and palletised goods.
  • Stack and retrieve pallets safely at height, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Handle loads of up to 3 tonnes while maintaining safe working practices.
  • Carry out daily pre-use vehicle inspections and report defects promptly.
  • Work closely with warehouse and grading teams to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Keep working areas clean, organized and compliant with health & safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding stock movements, hazards or operational issues.
