The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for Voice Order Pickers to join a l distribution company based in B78.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work within a busy chilled warehouse environment, with enhanced Sunday rates and regular overtime opportunities.
The Role
As a Voice Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders using a voice-controlled picking system and preparing products for dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking food and drink products using a voice-picking system
- Accurately selecting stock and building pallets for dispatch
- Working towards productivity and accuracy targets
- Operating pallet trucks and other warehouse equipment
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety
- Working efficiently within a chilled warehouse environment
- Supporting the wider warehouse team as required
Pay Rates
Standard Hours
- £13.45 per hour for the first 12 weeks
- £13.95 per hour after 12 weeks
Sunday
- £14.60 per hour for the first 12 weeks
- £15.10 per hour after 12 weeks
- £16.81 per hour for the first 12 weeks
- £17.44 per hour after 12 weeks
Sunday Overtime
- £20.94 per hour
Working Hours
- 13:30 - 22:00
- Any 5 days from 7
- No Saturday working
Requirements
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is desirable but not essential
- Comfortable working in a chilled environment
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable and hardworking attitude
- Ability to work to productivity and accuracy targets
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
