About the Role
We are looking for detail-oriented Visual Inspectors to join our production team in Swindon. In this role, you will perform manual visual inspections of filled vials under controlled conditions to ensure top-quality standards before products move to the next stage of production.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual visual inspections of filled vials in controlled inspection booths.
- Identify and remove defective units (e.g., visible particulate matter, cosmetic defects, cracks, chips, or fill volume issues).
- Maintain clear separation between accepted and rejected items.
- Record inspection results accurately following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Comply strictly with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
- Participate in routine vision checks and qualification assessments.
Requirements
- Education: GCSE-level Mathematics and English (or equivalent).
- Must pass a required visual acuity check (vision correction is fine).
- High level of concentration, focus, and consistency during routine tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and self-motivation.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical, food manufacturing, or another regulated production environment.
- Basic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles.
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
