RECEPTIONIST/ADMINISTRATOR Taw Hill SURGERY We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic person who has worked with the public and has good computer skills to join our friendly Practice team.
- RESPONSIBLE TO: Operations Manager
- SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB
An understanding, acceptance and adherence to the need for strict confidentiality.
An ability to use own judgement, resourcefulness, common sense.
A proactive approach to change.
Excellent communication skills.
Be able to work additional and flexible hours.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Booking and updating appointments
- Dealing with incoming calls from patients, doctors and hospital departments.
- Liaising with patients, doctors and hospital departments.
- Administrative support to the Practice as appropriate.
The successful candidate should preferably have
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
- High attention to detail
- Good interpersonal skills
- Flexible approach
- Team player with ability to work without direct supervision
- Previous Reception/Customer Service experience
- Relevant qualification would be beneficial however not essential.
