About the Role
Sodexo is looking for a reliable and proactive Evening Cleaner to join our team at the Catalent site in Swindon. You'll play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and professional working environment. Working across designated areas of the site, you'll complete a range of cleaning tasks to agreed standards while following strict Health & Safety, hygiene, security and COSHH procedures. This role would suit someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail and is comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete scheduled cleaning tasks across designated areas of the site
- Use cleaning products, equipment and PPE safely and correctly
- Follow all Health & Safety, COSHH, hygiene, infection control and security procedures
- Follow site cleaning methods, colour-coding requirements and task instructions
- Report equipment faults, building defects and potential hazards promptly
- Maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness and customer service
- Complete required training and support other reasonable cleaning tasks when needed
What We’re Looking For
- Previous cleaning experience, ideally within a commercial, pharmaceutical, laboratory or similar environment
- A strong commitment to Health & Safety and following site procedures
- Reliable, trustworthy and able to work on your own initiative
- Excellent attention to detail and a hands-on, can-do approach
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to organise and prioritise tasks effectively
- Flexible, proactive and comfortable working independently or as part of a team
