Full time | 3-month temporary contract | Hybrid Options
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance team on a 3-month contract basis in Swavesey.
This is a varied role within a busy finance team, offering the chance to gain exposure across multiple areas of the accounts function and support the day-to-day financial operations of the business.
- Your new role
- Processing purchase ledger invoices
- Assisting with sales ledger and customer accounts
- Bank reconciliations and cash allocation
- Credit control and chasing outstanding payments
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Assisting with payment runs
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Supporting month-end processes
- Handling finance-related queries from customers and suppliers
- What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant role
- Strong understanding of purchase and sales ledger processes
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage a varied workload and work independently
- Experience with Sage
