About the Role
As a locum Consultant Psychiatrist, you'll work within multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality psychiatric care to adults with complex mental health needs. Your responsibilities may include:
- Conducting psychiatric assessments and reviews.
- Leading treatment planning and clinical decision-making.
- Supporting junior medical staff and MDTs.
- Liaising with community services and external partners.
What We're Looking For
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
- Section 12/Section 22 and Approved/Responsible Clinician status (or eligibility).
- A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check - or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process.
- Experience in adult mental health settings.
- UK Right to Work.
- A flexible, collaborative, and patient-focused approach.
