About The Role:
The Lecturer will be responsible for coordinating several undergraduate modules in Electronic and Electrical Engineering, including lecturing, practical lab designs, preparing and marking continuous assessment and final exams, and managing the module pages in the Canvas Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). The role may also involve supporting the delivery of other modules, for example, acting as a second marker on coursework or examinations and supporting PC labs or practical sessions. The appointee will also be expected to supervise and mark undergraduate research projects at FHEQ Levels 6 and 7.
We particularly welcome applications from candidates with demonstrated ability to teach Electromagnetics and Digital Design/Circuits, and/or other related modules in Electronic Engineering. As a Lecturer in the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, the post-holder will be a member of the Board of Studies, and Board of Examiners, and will be expected to contribute to the activities of these Boards.
This is a fixed-term position, full-time for 12 months.
