About us
Great opportunity to work with a Family run business working out of Hansons Heidelberg Materials Swansea,
Monday - Friday overtime available as and when required, Must be flexible.
occasional Saturday (paid extra)
Bank Holidays off.
Christmas shut down.
Must have a valid cpc, and will need mpqc/epic card, experience preferred but not essential.
Rates are to be agreed depending on experience monthly pay.

Duties
- You will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of ready-mix concrete to various locations.
- Complete daily vehicle checks
- Complying with all relevant legislation in line with Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive requirements.
- Adhering to safe working practices to ensure the safety of yourself and others at all times.
- Safely operate a commercial truck to transport concrete to designated locations
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks, such as checking oil levels and tire pressure
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members
Experience
- Valid hgv class 2 driver's license with a minimum 1 years experience, with a clean driving record.
- Ability to navigate using GPS systems or maps to ensure timely deliveries
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
