The team plays a key role in supporting DVSA’s transformation journey, helping to deliver initiatives that improve services, processes, and ways of working across the organisation. Working closely with colleagues from a range of business areas, the team provides expertise, guidance, and support to ensure change is embedded effectively and delivers lasting value. Working with managers, colleagues, and stakeholders, you’ll help introduce new ways of working that improve business outcomes and support organisational priorities. You’ll provide guidance throughout the change journey, ensuring changes are effectively implemented, adopted, and embedded. This is an exciting opportunity to influence transformation, build strong relationships, and help deliver the successful transition of change initiatives arising from spending review commitments.
Your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:
- Create and manage a change plan.
- Regular face to face engagement with staff impacted by the change.
- Work in partnership with key stakeholders to identify issues that need to be addressed to ensure successful delivery of change.
- Coach managers to lead and manage the change agenda by improving the people capabilities of their teams.
- Identify any resistance to change and people related business issues and propose solutions to deliver the cultural changes.
- Maintain the development and engagement strategy with the employees affected by the change.
- Key stakeholder engagement with HR, Health and Safety and TUS representatives to deliver optimum solutions for the staff impacted by the change.
- Work in collaboration with other managers across all functions for the good of DVSA and to create a high performing and well-respected Agency.

You can be based at any of the above locations, however if your chosen location is Yeading/Uxbridge please note: This role is being advertised in Uxbridge, however the contractual base will be Yeading. While estates work is being carried out in Yeading all posts are being temporarily based at Uxbridge. Successful applicants will start with us at our Uxbridge location. Please be aware that all employees will be required to work from the Yeading site once it reopens in 2028. Employees based at Uxbridge will receive a London Weighting allowance of £4,000. This allowance will continue when the location moves to Yeading.
