Swaffham Community Hospital is an 18 bedded unit based in the market town of Swaffham.
As well as rehabilitation the unit also provides palliative and end of life care when Swaffham is the preferred place of care.
At Swaffham Hospital there are no parking charges for staff.
Main Responsibilities Be responsible for the delivery and co-ordination of care to a named group of patients Work effectively as a member of the multi-disciplinary team.
Work proactively within the team to achieve unit and trust goals and objectives.
Work with and promote recognised policies, protocols and guidelines Working hours We have a full time post available.
The working patterns varies from 12 hour shifts, a night from 19:00 to 07:30 and a day from 07:00 to 19:30.
The shifts are rostered on a rotational basis across seven days including bank holidays.
Training opportunities We welcome staff who are open to learning new skills such as venepuncture, male and female catheterisation, PEG feeding and ECG recording.
To assist you in doing this you will receive support and development through in service training, annual appraisals, a personal development plan and regular clinical supervision.
