About the Role:
HCRG Staffing are looking for a Band 6 and Band 7 Children's Speech & Language Therapist (locum) to be based around Sutton, South London working for private schools. Hybrid working available as admin work can be done from home. We have various schools in the Sutton area, all are accessible via public transport, so a car driver is not needed. They need Band 6 therapists for mainstream secondary and also mainstream primary. The mainstream caseload is likely to be a mix of 1 school a day, or 1 school for two days, and you can make up the time that way - rather than being in one place all week. Our client also needs a Band 7 level therapist for an ASD provision. Working hours would be 8-4 or 9-5 and be 37 hours per week would be ideal but will consider part time hours.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working within a multidisciplinary team of speech therapists and occupational therapists, the post holder will have the opportunity to work in local schools and colleges across the 4 years to 25 years age range or with a smaller age range within this.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Education: Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
- Licenses: HCPC registered.
- Experience: 2 years+ experience.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compassion and patience when working with vulnerable individuals.
