About the Role
Are you passionate about empowering young people with learning disabilities to achieve their full potential? We are looking for a dedicated Lecturer to join our team and deliver high-quality education within our discrete supported learning provision. We welcome applications from individuals who are organised, proactive and highly motivated to work with this group of learners and manage support staff.
In this role, you will:
- Teach and be personal tutor to groups of students with learning disabilities, helping them develop essential skills in independent living skills/employability, functional maths, and English at Entry Level.
- Plan and deliver structured, engaging, and individualised educational programmes tailored to diverse learning needs.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multi‑agency team to ensure a responsive and supportive learning environment.
- Provide high‑standard teaching that challenges and inspires students, aligning with awarding body requirements and meeting internal moderation standards.
To succeed in this role, you will:
- Have experience designing and delivering structured learning programmes for students with learning disabilities.
- Be highly organised, proactive, and motivated to support students in achieving their aspirations.
- Possess excellent communication skills and a creative, solution‑focused mindset.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, working effectively in a team environment to meet individual student needs.
