Shaw healthcare is looking for a passionate and caring person who is ready to make a positive impact at Sparrowfields. Sparrowfields is a warm and welcoming care home that provides residential and respite care services for older adults who require assistance with daily living activities. The home is located in Weoley Castle, Birmingham and is designed to provide a homely and comfortable environment for its residents, with spacious and well-decorated bedrooms, tastefully furnished communal areas, and safe and secure gardens. The home also offers a range of facilities and services to ensure that residents can maintain their independence and enjoy a fulfilling and active lifestyle.

Job Responsibilities

  • As a Support Worker you will be responsible for promoting physical and emotional support to our lovely service users.
  • Providing person-centred care in line with an individual's care plan.
  • Offering personal care, which includes assistance with bathing, dressing and hygiene.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of care delivered, including fluid/food intake, activities and incidents.
  • Promoting dignity, choice and inclusion.
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting your colleagues in day-to-day duties.
  • Maintaining a safe, happy, and caring environment.
