The work we do changes lives - could you join our team? We support people to do the things we all normally take for granted, such as going for a walk, visiting the shops and helping out at home too. Living with autism, learning disabilities, mental health challenges and complex needs is tricky, but with our support, the people we support have discovered their own superpowers and begun to do the things they love to do!

Penhayes is a specialist residential home in Kenton, near Exeter supporting adults with autism, learning disabilities, mental health challenges and complex care needs. The people we support live across five individual flats and we have a generous shared garden we love spending time in. We work as a family in all we do, supporting people to thrive and live their best lives, just like any family would.

About The Role

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will be at the forefront of providing high-quality, enabling care. Every day brings new challenges and rewards, making this a truly fulfilling role. You'll be key in helping us achieve our goal of being the best in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Individual Outcome and Wellbeing: Implement person-centered support plans, promote independence, manage risks, encourage relationships, and ensure legal and best practice compliance.
