Duties as Secondary Supply Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and subject-appropriate lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Follow lesson plans and adapt teaching to meet the needs of different learners
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and in line with school policies
- Provide feedback to staff on pupil progress and classroom activity
- Support the wider school community and uphold safeguarding standards
- Adapt quickly to different school environments and expectations
Ideal Secondary Supply Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching in secondary schools across a range of subjects
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Flexible, reliable, and confident working in new settings
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
