We are currently seeking experienced Joiners to join our clients team working across established public sector sites in the South Tyneside and Sunderland areas.
This role involves carrying out high-quality maintenance, upgrades, and refurbishment works.
You will be based at one dedicated facility per day, working within a structured and secure team environment.
This position offers consistent full-time hours, long-term stability, and the strong potential for a permanent transition into the workforce.

- 40 hours, Monday to Friday
- Key Duties
- Carrying out high-standard general joinery maintenance, repairs, and installations.
- Fitting, repairing, and adjusting commercial doors, fire doors, frames, and ironmongery.
- Installing fitted furniture, cabinetry, shelving, and timber partitions.
- Completing both scheduled planned works and general day-to-day upkeep across facilities.
- Adhering strictly to health, safety, and site hygiene protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Time-served Joiner with NVQ Level 3

- DBS check and verified work references are required
- Strong background in commercial, public sector, or facility maintenance joinery.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work professionally around on-site staff and public.
