Role Overview
We are seeking an organised, compassionate and proactive Care Coordinator to join our domiciliary care team.
You will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality care is delivered to our service users by effectively scheduling care visits, supporting care staff, and maintaining strong communication with clients and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule care visits using care management systems
- Match carers to service users based on skills and preferences
- Handle rota planning, including sickness and emergency cover
- Communicate with clients, families and care staff professionally
- Ensure care plans are accurate and up to date
- Support onboarding and training of care staff
- Monitor compliance with CQC standards and company policies
- Handle enquiries and concerns in a timely, empathetic manner
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Take part in On Call duties
About You
- Previous experience in domiciliary care coordination (preferred)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Confident using scheduling and care management software
- Calm under pressure and able to manage competing priorities
- Knowledge of CQC regulations and care standards
- A compassionate and professional approach
- Must be a driver with a vehicle
