Millfield School is currently seeking highly motivated individuals to join our outstanding team of Leisure Supervisors on a zero-hours basis. Millfield has an exceptional reputation for swimming, encompassing comprehensive student swim programmes, private lessons, and our state-of-the-art 50m and 25m pools. Our dedicated team of Supervisors and pool staff play a vital role in maintaining this success.
We are looking for candidates with a valid NPLQ qualification and ideally some experience in lifeguarding or supervisory roles (although this is not essential). You should be confident, proactive, and a strong communicator, with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills. A willingness to lead by example and maintain high standards is essential.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a team of lifeguards and swim teachers
- Performing lifeguard duties at both the Millfield Senior and Prep Pools
- Acting as a key holder and ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed
- Setting up and dismantling equipment
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Supervising the Cricket Centre and Golf Centre
Experience in the leisure industry or customer service is advantageous. This is a zero-hours role with flexible shifts available, including days, evenings, and weekends, depending on operational needs. The role offers £13.23 per hour plus statutory holiday pay.
