Strategic Manager - Operations, Performance & Contracts

What you will be responsible for You will: Lead and coordinate EHPs Operations Team across practice sites, localities and organisation-wide services.

Provide clear leadership, challenge and support to Area Delivery Leads, operational managers and service leads.

Ensure services are delivered in line with agreed plans, quality standards, contractual requirements and budgets.

Lead the organisational performance management process, including dashboards, review meetings, recovery plans and escalation.

Work with the Informatics and Performance Team to develop meaningful reporting on activity, access, quality, productivity, outcomes and efficiency.

Working with the CFO, act as EHPs lead for contract development, negotiation, mobilisation, performance, variation, renewal and closure.

Oversee delivery against key performance indicators and contractual obligations.

Lead operational improvement programmes and ensure that agreed actions result in measurable change.

Work jointly with the Chief Medical Officer on service redesign, pathway improvement, capacity and demand planning, clinical improvement and learning from incidents and complaints.

Programme manage the EHP practice contract merger and associated operational integration.

Support the development of business cases, transformation proposals and invest-to-save initiatives.

Provide clear and concise reports to the Leadership Team, Erewash Management Team and Partners Board.

Build positive relationships with GP partners, clinicians, managers, commissioners and partner organisations.

Clinical governance and clinical decision-making will remain accountable to the Chief Medical Officer.

This role will ensure that agreed clinical standards, service models and improvement actions are translated into effective operational delivery.
