Act as a point of reference for incoming telephone queries, taking appropriate action personally or redirecting as is necessary.
Produce reports and letters in accordance with guidelines.

Book all appointments on to the appropriate computerised system.
Support the team to Input contacts including non-attended appointments onto Rio.
Support the team leader to arrange all MDT meetings and send out all correspondence regarding this.
Ensure that all patient records are prepared in advance for initial appointments, review appointments and MDT meetings.
Liaise with other members of the Multi-disciplinary team and wider professionals as required.
Carry out general administrative and clerical functions including photocopying, filing as required.
Process the client referral system and associated paperwork in accordance with departmental systems.
Process the client discharge system and associated paperwork in accordance with departmental systems Book interpreting services for the team under the guidance of the Team leader.
Maintain effective and efficient departmental systems and office procedures including adequate supplies of departmental forms/leaflets and stationery requirements.
Maintain effective diary management as required by management.
Take an active role in maintaining the safety of other members of the team following The Lone Worker Policy and procedures using the existing Buddy system.
Process incoming/outgoing post and team emails taking appropriate action as necessary.
Maintain an efficient filing and records system, encompassing medical secretarial services including the archiving of notes Collate statistical information and prepare returns appropriate to grade as required by management.
Maintain and keep up to date the services database.
Take notes or minutes of meetings as required and appropriate to grade.
Undertake the administrative tasks of ordering of supplies and services including the submission of works tickets and urgent requests for maintenance/estates, where appropriate under the direction of the Line Manager.
To supervise and mentor staff on Band 2 and below with support guidance from Line Manager.
Take an active role in any changes within the team/service appropriate to grade.
To undertake any other duties of a similar nature consistent with the responsibilities of this post in order to provide a quality service.
