Where will you be working? We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our Demand management and network infrastructure team. We look after 60 million meters and our teams provide advanced metering solutions to help manage demand for essential suppliers.

What will you be doing? You’ll be working in the main distribution warehouse as part of a team looking after depot and stores. We’ll need you to be responsible for issuing and receipting of goods and part of the day to day running of a busy stores along with carrying out stock checks and stock accuracy. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment and overseeing the efficient upkeep of the depot. We’ll need you to be flexible and participate in call out and weekend rota.

What you’ll bring:

  • Enthusiasm to work as part of a team and work from own initiative.
  • Physical stamina, and comfort with physical demands of the role.
  • Technical literacy and confidence in using inventory software, scanners and basic computer applications for administrative tasks.
  • Background knowledge of the utility industry (preferred).
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Fork lift truck and telehandler licence (preferred but not essential as we’ll provide training).
