Key Responsibilities:
- Always work safely across the production area by following company Health and Safety policies.
- Identify and promptly report any issues with materials, machinery, or final products.
- Maintain your work station keeping it clean, tidy and organised.
- Prepare and handle packaging materials, ensuring correct labels, coding, and container specifications.
- Operate production equipment including storage, feeding, mixing, blending, extrusion, and packaging machinery.
- Conduct inspections, packing activities, and metal detection checks to maintain product quality.
- Ensure products comply with weight control and quality requirements.
- Accurately complete all required production, process, and food safety documentation.
- Carrying out other tasks as instructed by a manager.
Skills & Experience:
- Preferably experience in FMCG or fast-paced production environments.
- Experience in busy production or delivery operations is advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Energetic, proactive, and demonstrates a sense of urgency.
- Strong team player with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Self-motivated with the ability to use initiative.
Requirements:
- Due to site location, applicants MUST drive.
- Able to commit to shift rotation and long-term work.
- This role is manual, involves frequent heavy lifting and requires applicants to possess a basic level of physical fitness.
