Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of high-quality care and learning experiences for children aged 0–5 years.
- Assist in planning and delivering fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities.
- Support children’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Help create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Encourage children’s independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.
- Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Build positive and professional relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues.
- Observe and contribute to recording children’s progress and development.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies and procedures at all times.
- Work effectively as part of the nursery team to provide a high standard of care and education.
