Work within the Unit setting providing high quality, caring, compassionate and personal care to patients and their families/carers. Work under the direction of the Registered Healthcare professionals and senior colleagues, both independently and as part of the multi- disciplinary team. Under the direction of a Registered Health Care Professional ensure a high standard of service provision on the Unit, by practicing effective clinical and administrative preparation, effective communication and care delivery, prioritising workload appropriately and contributing to service improvements Participate in giving compassionate high quality personal care to patients prioritising appropriately and developing competencies that safeguard practice. Develop competencies appropriate to the role. Act always in a manner, which illustrates respect for privacy, dignity, equality, diversity, and confidentiality. Exhibit professional attitude and behaviour and always demonstrate excellent customer care skills. Contribute to effective team working by being fully involved, committed, and participating, to achieving own and others full potential. The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and promote safeguarding by implementing the Trusts policies and procedures, acting promptly on concerns, communicating effectively and sharing information appropriately. If successful this vacancy will require an enhanced DBS check at a cost of Β£54.90. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary In addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of Β£16.
