Job Description
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Stock Control Coordinator to join our warehouse operations team at Heathfield.
This is a varied role that plays a key part in ensuring the efficient management of stock, customer accounts, and warehouse administration while maintaining the highest quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing stock control activities to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity.
- Administering and supporting three key customer accounts.
- Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Providing excellent customer service and acting as a key point of contact for customer enquiries.
- Liaising with transport providers and internal teams to coordinate deliveries and collections.
- Monitoring and investigating stock discrepancies, implementing corrective actions where required.
- Producing stock reports and maintaining accurate system records.
- Supporting warehouse operations through effective administration and communication.
- Ensuring compliance with BRC Quality standards and stock control procedures.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse and logistics operation.
Requirements
- Previous experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), with a strong understanding of stock control and warehouse processes.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to effectively prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across teams and with customers.
- Able to work independently using initiative, as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Highly organised and proactive, with a solutions-focused approach and strong problem-solving skills.
