We are recruiting for a Technical Officer Pharmacy Manufacturing Unit who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients. Join our Pharmacy Manufacturing Unit Team and play a vital role in preparing life‑saving medicines in a highly specialised, quality driven environment.

We are looking for a motivated, detail focused individual who thrives in a technical and patient focused environment. As a Technical Officer, you will support the delivery of aseptic services by preparing, checking and managing the safe production of medicines, including chemotherapy and other sterile products. You will work in cleanrooms and isolators, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and contributing to high standards of patient care.

  • Prepare and label aseptic medicines using isolator technology
  • Clean, test and maintain cleanrooms and equipment
  • Act as a Pre- and In-Process Checker (PIPC) (once accredited)
  • Supervise and support pharmacy staff and trainees
  • Ensure accurate documentation in line with MHRA & GMP standards
  • Carry out dispensing duties and provide basic patient advice
  • Maintain stock control and participate in quality management systems
  • Contribute to SOPs, audits and ongoing service improvements
