Applications are invited for a Junior Clinical Fellow in Plastic Surgery. This is a permanent appointment available from August 2026. The post is based at Lister Hospital in Stevenage, is full time and the post holder will be expected to participate on the out of hours rotas.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within the Plastic department at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. The post holder will be encouraged to participate in audits, presentations and teachings. Although this post is not recognised for training, the appointee will be encouraged in their training and development within the role.
Applicants must hold full GMC registration and licence to practice. Applications from those wishing to work part-time or job share are welcomed.
- Initial resuscitation and management of all emergency patients presenting to the department
- Initiation of the necessary investigation of patients and the referral to the relevant on-call specialist team when indicated
- Daily ward rounds, inpatient and outpatient management of patients, outpatients and endoscopy
