We are recruiting for an Information Analyst who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

The Information Analyst role will be required to assist the information team, particularly the Senior Information Analysts, to meet the internal and external information reporting requirements of the Trust. You will be expected to develop reports and help end users to analyse and interpret the information disseminated by the Information Team.

You will take responsibility for specific areas of activity and lead in making recommendations for improvements regarding the monitoring of activity, performance, data quality, and data collection systems. You will ensure daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly information flows are met in accordance with the requirements of the Trust and external stakeholders, providing managers with timely and accurate information to support performance requirements and inform the strategic decision-making process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysis and interpretation of data to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Providing specialist and expert knowledge to Divisions.
  • End-user support for software including Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
  • Developing reports to agreed specifications and advising end-users.
  • Agreement on annual objectives with line manager and participation in a regular process of appraisal and review.
  • Undertaking appropriate training courses as identified as part of the appraisal process to effectively carry out the responsibilities of the post.
