Job Title: Steel Fixer - National Grid Substation Project - NG Person ESSENTIAL

Hours: 50 hours per week (Early finish on Fridays)
The Role:
We are currently recruiting experienced Steel Fixers to work on a National Grid 400kV substation project in York.
This is a great opportunity to get onto a live substation site, supporting in-situ foundation works within a substation building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Steel fixing for in-situ concrete foundations
- Working with pre-cut and bent reinforcement bar
- Ensuring all works are carried out to specification and drawings
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety within a live substation environment
- Working closely with site teams to meet programme deadlines
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Steel Fixer on infrastructure or substation projects
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Experience working in live or controlled environments (highly beneficial) li>
- Strong understanding of site safety and procedures
Tickets:
National Grid Person
Any tickets relevant to steel works and fixing
Rates & Package:
- 50 hours per week
- Early finish every Friday
- Works unitl January 2027
