Looking to develop your Occupational Therapy career in rehabilitation? This is an excellent opportunity to join our Bedded Rehabilitation Unit at Finchley Memorial Hospital – Marjory Warren Ward as a Band 6 Specialist Occupational Therapist. You'll support patients with complex rehabilitation needs to maximise their independence and achieve outcomes that matter most to them. Working within a skilled multidisciplinary team, you'll use your clinical expertise, creativity and problem-solving skills to make a meaningful difference to patient care.

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver holistic occupational therapy assessments and interventions for a varied and complex caseload
  • Support patients to achieve rehabilitation goals, maximise independence and plan for safe discharge
  • Use clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice to develop personalised treatment plans
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, person-centred care
  • Provide supervision, teaching and support to junior therapists, students and support staff
  • Contribute to service development, audit and quality improvement activities
  • Promote and embed evidence-based practice within the team
