This role is to support a high functioning autistic adult (moderate tendencies), who requires support in upkeeping the everyday pressures in life. The ideal candidate is someone who has experience and understanding around autism and is non-judgemental about the internalised and invisible struggles that many autistic adults face.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting to maintain the home environment with general duties.
- Supporting maintenance of areas in the garden and providing advice to help create a holistic space to support wellbeing.
- Occasional management of nutritional intake, introducing new recipes and promoting healthy eating.
- Supporting and advocating for caring responsibilities for a child who has a high need of care.
- Providing options for facilities and services in the community and recreational facilities to access.
Flexibility is required due to the interchangeable needs of the role. A DBS check will be required.
Shift Pattern: Hours are 8 hours between Monday to Sunday. Times to be agreed.
