The Role
Depending on the assignment, you could be:
- Teaching English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4

For day-to-day supply, planning and marking will normally be provided by the school.

You’ll ideally have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an appropriate UK-recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching English within a UK secondary school
- Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- A positive, reliable and professional approach
- A passion for English and helping pupils achieve their potential
