Information Technology Lecturer.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced lecturer or an industry professional looking to move into teaching.
You'll play a key role in inspiring learners and helping them develop the skills needed for successful careers in the ever-evolving world of technology.
The Role
As a Computer Science Lecturer, you will
- Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons across a range of FE programmes.
- Teach topics such as programming, cybersecurity, networking, databases, software development, and computer systems.
- Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to support learner progression.
- Create an inclusive and engaging learning environment that motivates students to achieve their full potential.
- Monitor learner progress and contribute to curriculum development where appropriate.
Requirements
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science or a related subject.
- Previous teaching experience within Further Education is desirable but not essential.
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or equivalent) is desirable.
Candidates without a teaching qualification but with relevant industry experience are encouraged to apply.
- Strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills.
