Status / Hours: Fixed Term, Part Time 10 hours per week Term Time Only 37 weeks

The Learning Support team at South Staffordshire College require Communication Support Workers to provide British Sign Language (BSL) support for Deaf and hearing-impaired students. This is an exciting opportunity to motivate and encourage students to embrace their differences and to help them develop their skills and confidence to work more independently in preparation for adulthood and working life. The role would suit anyone looking for flexible hours, with a range of hours available, subject to support requirements. The successful candidates will have at least a level 3 certificate in British Sign Language and experience of supporting young adults, preferably within an education setting. You will be an excellent communicator, committed and enthusiastic with a natural ability to inspire students to recognise and achieve their aspirations.
