Hays Education is supporting 2 Councils based in South- West London, looking to recruit multiple interim to permanent qualified Speech and Language Therapists roles from band 5 to band 7, starting September.
Roles will be based in multiple mainstream and SEN schools and are full-time.These opportunities are ideal for therapists who are passionate about supporting children and young people with communication needs within specialist educational settings across primary and secondary.The roleAs a Speech and Language Therapist in an SEN school, you will:
- Assess and support pupils with speech, language, and communication needs
- Deliver individual and group therapy programmes
- Support pupils with ASC, SEMH, and complex learning needs
- Contribute to EHCP targets and reviews
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Provide practical strategies to support communication across the school environment
Roles are available on up to 12-month contract basis.What Hays Education offers

Requirements
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN (education or clinical settings)
- Strong communication and collaborative working skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
