Professional: The post holder will provide a range of clinical care within Sexual Health and contraception consistent with the overall role and grade of the post And will: Provide, develop and monitor clinical sessions to best meet the needs of the patients.
Accept responsibility for the maintenance and development of his / her own clinical skills / knowledge.
Treat all patients in a sensitive non-judgmental manner .
Maintain confidentiality in accordance with national and local policies.
Participate in clinical audit, supporting the clinical lead consultant in ensuring that the practice of medical colleagues reflects current research findings, and is in line with Trust procedures and is appropriate for each individual client for whom care is provided.
Ensure that service standards and protocols are kept up-to-date, working with team colleagues to facilitate inhouse training / updating programmes as required.
Work flexibly across a variety of clinical settings.
Participate in the provision of expert clinical advice and professional leadership as part of the Sexual Health and HIV Service Team.
Uphold the values and vision of the Sexual Health and HIV Service.
