We are pleased to invite applications for a Junior Clinical Fellow post in Genitourinary Medicine (GUM) and HIV at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and experienced multidisciplinary team within a busy London service, delivering high-quality sexual health and HIV care across both community and specialist hospital settings.
The post is offered for twelve months in the first instance, with opportunities to develop clinical skills across the full breadth of GUM and HIV medicine, including supervised HIV outpatient care, acute sexual health presentations, and exposure to service development, audit, and research activity. The post is well suited to doctors considering a career in GUM/HIV medicine or wishing to consolidate experience in the specialty.

Employment at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is offered subject to successful completion of a 6 month Probationary Period. The post-holder will deliver Genitourinary Medicine (GUM) and HIV services at 10 Hammersmith Broadway (10HB), part of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. 10HB provides care to a diverse population and delivers a wide range of routine and specialist HIV, GUM and contraception services across community and hospital settings.
The post offers an excellent grounding in HIV and sexual health medicine, delivered within a supportive and educational clinical environment. There is no on-call commitment associated with this role; however, the post-holder will be expected to participate in evening clinics as part of the service rota. Successful applicants will be allocated a named clinical supervisor. Although the post is not formally educationally approved, the post-holder will have full access to the same departmental teaching and educational activities as doctors in approved training programmes. MRCP is not essential for appointment.
Specialty Doctors are strongly encouraged to participate in audit and research projects, and previous post-holders have successfully presented work locally and nationally. The post-holder may also be expected to work across other GUM clinics within the Directorate, in line with service requirements.
