You will be supporting schools in a range of environments, delivering Spanish lessons across Key Stages as part of general supply cover.

Duties as Spanish Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging Spanish lessons using provided plans
  • Teach across Key Stages with a focus on communication, vocabulary development, and cultural understanding
  • Support students in developing listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills
  • Assess, track, and record pupil progress where required
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Manage behaviour effectively in accordance with school policies
  • Contribute to departmental work during longer-term placements

Ideal Spanish Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge in Spanish language and culture
  • Ability to motivate and engage students of varying abilities
  • Confident in managing behaviour in a secondary classroom
  • Flexible and adaptable across different school settings
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils
