Duties as Spanish Teacher:
- Deliver engaging Spanish lessons using provided plans
- Teach across Key Stages with a focus on communication, vocabulary development, and cultural understanding
- Support students in developing listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills
- Assess, track, and record pupil progress where required
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Manage behaviour effectively in accordance with school policies
- Contribute to departmental work during longer-term placements
Ideal Spanish Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Spanish language and culture
- Ability to motivate and engage students of varying abilities
- Confident in managing behaviour in a secondary classroom
- Flexible and adaptable across different school settings
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils
