As our Hub Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting people to improve their wellbeing, build confidence, and overcome the challenges that can lead to isolation, poor mental health, or loneliness. Based at the heart of our communities, you'll deliver engaging activities, develop meaningful partnerships, and provide personalised support that empowers people to make positive changes in their lives.

Please note this role will be split into 2 locations, 6 hours in Spalding and 6 hours in Holbeach across 6 x 2 hour shifts

  • As a Community Resilience Hub Coordinator, a typical day might include:
  • Plan and deliver a programme of wellbeing, learning and social activities across Community Resilience Hubs and local venues.
  • Provide personalised, holistic support to help people improve their mental health, wellbeing and resilience.
  • Complete assessments, action plans and regular reviews, monitoring progress and outcomes.
  • Organise community-led events and activities that bring people together and make the most of local assets.
  • Support people with lived experience to shape, co-design and influence services and activities.
  • Develop and manage a volunteer peer mentoring programme to strengthen community support networks.
  • Promote and connect customers to wider services, partners and opportunities that meet their needs.
  • Engage vulnerable, isolated and disadvantaged individuals, reducing barriers to support and participation.
  • Build relationships with community groups, networks and partners, generating referrals and strengthening local connections.
  • Gather data, measure impact and help demonstrate the positive difference our services make to communities.
  • What we are looking for on your application (dont worry if you dont tick every box):
  • A willingness and ability to deliver a range of courses beyond your primary area of expertise with an enthusiasm to develop
  • your skills to adapt our delivery to needs of our learners.
  • Outcome star training undertaken.
  • Qualification in Mentoring, Advice and Guidance or similar, or a mental health qualification.
  • Are comfortable with, and can deliver, both 1-2-1 and group sessions in their role.
  • Experience of professionally engaging with adults and children.
  • A genuine commitment to supporting people to thrive and achieve, overcoming barriers faced because of mental ill health.
  • Ability to work as a team, under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • A good understanding of the barriers faced by inactive people, and the solutions that may be able to benefit them.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others, whether in the same team or external support providers.
  • You're a positive, energised and enthusiastic person, with a real zest for helping others.

The added extras (helpful but not essential)

  • L3 Award in Education and Training (formerly PTLLS) or Teaching qualification, and/or willingness to undergo further training.
  • Qualifications in your subject specialism (to at least Level 3 equivalent), or an in-depth knowledge and substantial experience
  • in the subject area.
  • Awareness of the needs of underachieving and disengaged young people.
  • Ability to deal with challenging behaviour at times.
  • An understanding of the different local services available for customers.
  • You're interested in supporting the wider team with our wellbeing activities, learning opportunities or employment support –
  • and have some skills to offer in this area.
