We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Events Manager to lead the development and delivery of a diverse programme of events that support our communities, visitor economy and economic growth ambitions across the South & East Lincolnshire Council Partnership but directly employed by South Holland District Council. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a varied portfolio that will include supporting community festivals, markets, town centre activities, cultural events as well as a number of local and seasonal celebrations.
Working closely with elected members, local businesses, community organisations, emergency services and Council colleagues, you will ensure our events are safe, successful and deliver real benefits for residents, visitors and businesses.
As Events Manager, you will:
- Develop and deliver the Council's annual events programme.
- Lead the planning and delivery of major public events.
- Manage event budgets and funding.
- Ensure safe, compliant and successful event delivery.
