Main duties and responsibilities:
- Efficiently and safely run and manage the inline packing machines.
- Maintain the machinery to minimise breakdowns and potential downtime.
- Raise mechanical issues in a timely manner with the line leader or engineering department to minimise downtime.
- Keep the work area tidy and hazard free while actively promoting the clean as you go policy.
- Report any downtime which will have an adverse effect on meeting your production targets.
- Leave the machines in good working order and clean for the next shift to start.
