We are recruiting for a Team Leader to join a supported living service in Southend, supporting individuals with a range of needs to live as independently and fulfillingly as possible. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Support Worker or Team Leader who is passionate about person-centred care and ready to take on greater responsibility.

The Role

You'll help oversee the day-to-day running of the service, supporting and guiding the care team while ensuring individuals receive safe, consistent and high-quality support. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and supporting members of the care team
  • Promoting independence, choice and dignity
  • Ensuring support is tailored to individual needs and preferences
  • Maintaining high standards of safeguarding and care
  • Supporting individuals who may display behaviours that challenge
  • Helping ensure regulatory requirements and procedures are followed

About You

We're looking for someone with:

  • Experience supporting people with learning disabilities and autism
  • Experience with behaviours that challenge
  • Previous Team Leader or Senior Support Worker experience
  • Good knowledge of safeguarding and care regulations
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Flexibility to work varied hours when required
