Are you caring, reliable and passionate about helping people maintain their independence? We are recruiting Domiciliary Care Workers to join an established care provider supporting adults across Southend-on-Sea and the surrounding areas. You'll provide person-centred care within people's own homes, helping individuals remain as independent, safe and comfortable as possible while ensuring their dignity, choices and preferences are always respected.

The Role

  • Supporting with personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming and continence care
  • Providing medication support in line with your training
  • Preparing meals and drinks
  • Helping with light household tasks and maintaining a safe home environment
  • Supporting individuals to attend appointments and access their local community
  • Completing accurate care records and reporting any concerns
  • Travelling between clients in your own vehicle

What We're Looking For

  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle - essential
  • A caring, compassionate and professional approach
  • Reliability and strong communication skills
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
  • An understanding of safeguarding
  • Previous care experience or a willingness to undertake full training
  • An NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care, or previous experience supporting vulnerable adults or people living with dementia, would be advantageous but isn't essential.
