Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working in line with the policies, code of conduct and procedures of Metro Homecare.
- Assistance with tasks of daily living that people who use our services cannot manage alone.
- Cleaning, toileting, personal hygiene such as washing, dressing, shopping, collection of pensions, paying of bills and laundry.
- Contributing to the movement and handling of people who use our services to maximise their physical abilities and mobility.
- Assisting in the preparation and making of nutritious meals, drinks and snacks where required.
- Providing social support, such as talking and listening to clients, helping them maintain contact with family and friends.
- Promoting effective communication and relationships.
- Administer medication where required/necessary.
- Recording all actions and information within the home in a clear, legible and professional manner.
